Meet The Owners

Adam Sanford and Arthur Wald are the owners and creators of THE STAY PORTLAND. In 2012, Adam decided to rent out his extra room on a new website called Airbnb.com. After meeting Arthur in 2014 and hosting hundreds of guests, the two decided to buy the their rental home and expand the business together. 

They have since designed and built four additional spaces on the property, hosted over 6,000 guests, and maintained an unbroken record as Airbnb "Superhosts" through it all. Both are creatives, with a knack for designing innovative, playful spaces you won't want to leave.
